Meet Your Home Inspector

Hi, I’m Dave… owner and home inspector at Front Porch Home Inspection. I’ve always been obsessed with the details and have always had a natural curiosity about things that isn’t satisfied until every stone is turned and every question is answered. I drove my parents crazy as a kid because I was always taking everything apart… every toy, radio, lawnmower and bike I could get my hands on… I had to figure out how they worked. I’ve still got that curiosity and keen eye for detail today which sets me apart as one of the top inspectors around.

Background and Experience

I was raised around construction and remodeling projects from a young age, and have worked in the construction industry on and off in various capacities over the years. That experience helped establish a solid foundation and knowledge base to be an inspector, but it was my art school training and 15 years working as a commercial photographer that really  refined my detailed eye and has helped me excel in this field. All of that combined experience and training along with my natural gifting as a detail freak has made one great home inspector. I love serving Portland and the communities of Western Oregon through the home inspection industry and look forward to providing you with the best service available.
