Hi, I’m Dave… owner and home inspector at Front Porch Home Inspection, with over 7 years experience and 1500+ inspections completed. I’ve always been obsessed with the details and have always had that innate natural curiosity about things that isn’t satisfied until every stone is turned and every question is answered, traits that make a great home inspector. I’ve still got that curiosity and keen eye for detail today which sets me apart as the top home inspector in Columbia County, OR and throughout the NW Oregon and Portland region.

Background and Experience

I was raised around construction and remodeling projects from a young age, and have worked in the construction industry in various capacities over the years. That experience helped establish a solid foundation and knowledge base to be a home inspector, but I believe it was my art school training and 20 years working as a commercial photographer that really honed my obsession for detail and has helped me excel to become a top rated home inspector in Oregon. All of that combined experience and training along with my natural gift as a detail freak has made one great home inspector. I love serving my local community of Columbia County where I live and play, in addition to the greater Portland metro area and the communities of Western Oregon through the home inspection industry and look forward to providing you with the best home inspection services available.
